Blue Rock Construction Vehicle and Equipment Policy

All vehicles remain the property of Blue Rock Construction and should be driven with care. All vehicles are for work use only and cannot be used for any personal journeys.

It is a disciplinary offence:

• If found speeding in a company vehicle.

• If found drink driving.

• If you are found to be driving in a reckless or negligent manner.

• If damage is caused to the vehicle because of your lack of care.

Blue Rock Construction reserve the right to charge employees the Insurance excess on any accidents or damage found to be their fault and to charge employees for any minor repairs to vehicles.

All vehicles whilst in your use should be kept clean and tidy.

Diesel is provided by Blue Rock Construction for journeys to and from work and whilst at work.

All tools and equipment that are the property of Blue Rock Construction or ‘On Hire’ should be used in a careful and considerate manner, should be cleaned after use and stored after use safely.

It is a disciplinary offence:

• If tools are used in a careless, negligent or dangerous manner.
• If tools are left dirty or not replaced after use
• Blue Rock Construction reserve the right to charge the employee for repair or replacement of any tools / equipment lost or damage by an employee.
