Safety wear
All employees are provided with safety eye
glasses, hi visibility vests, protective gloves and hard hats
these should be worn at all appropriate times. If unsure when
these should be worn please ask Tony.
Employees should wear protective footwear at
all appropriate times.
Training
As part of your induction you
would have received training on the safe use of all equipment
and tools.
If at any time you feel you need refresher training please let
Tony know.
Accidents
All accidents must be reported to Tony or Sally and details must
be entered in the accident book which is located in Tony’s Van.
Smoking
No employees can smoke in trucks, vans, hire vehicles or any
other company vehicles.
Employees must not smoke on site. A container with sand will be
provided to dispose of cigarette butts safely, this will be
situated at the end of the driveway or other suitable outside
place. If employees wish to smoke they should do so on their
breaks near the smoking bucket.
Risk assessments
Risk assessments are carried out at intervals at each job, each
employee will be made aware of any risks on site and precautions
they should take. If at any time you feel that there is a safety
issue please bring this to the attention of Tony or Sally.
Health and Safety policy
Each employee has been issued a copy of the company Health and
Safety Policy which you should read and adhere to. There is also
a copy in Tony’s van as a site copy.
Sub Contractors
Sub contractors must adhere to the same safety rules whilst
working on site for their safety and the employees safety, if at
any time you feel there is a safety issue please bring this to
the attention of Tony or Sally. |
